The DA didn't really object to Taylor's first request for a continuance, postponing the trial from October to January. He didn't really stop him from trying to play football during the regular season.
As for the other felonies, the DA is doing one of two things:
1) Trying to scare Taylor into accepting a plea
2) Spreading his eggs over three baskets. Maybe he can't prove that Taylor fired a gun at a couple of the victims. But he's more confident in nailing him for the third victim.
I don't perceive that the DA is out to get Taylor. I just think he's doing his job. But in the end, I still don't think the DA has the evidence he needs.
