Russell hung on for 3 years or so because he was so damned fast that coaches could not believe that they couldn't teach him something simple like catching a football. After all, you can teach a 7-year old how to do that, no? But Russell never learned and now he's off to some other career.
Antonio Brown needs to improve about as much as Cliff Russell needed to improve; Brown's hands are substandard for an Ivy League wide receiver. But he can run - very, very fast. And so he has an opportunity in NFLE this spring and will get a lot of tutelage in minicamp and traiing camp and ...
The bottom line is simple: Can he be taught how to catch a football reliably? Cliff Russell couldn't.

Its been said that speed will get you on the feild but it wont keep you there if you cant catch and brown is proof of that. if he cares about his nfl career than he will work hard on his hands this year
