A crucial stop in the SB against Denver? What on earth was crucial for the Giants in that game? They blew denver out! I really had to laugh at the justification for that vote. Was Carson ever the best at his position? Never, Art Monk was, what NFL records did Carson hold? None! And lets face it he wasen't even a part of the best defense in the NFL, that prize went to the Bears. Art Monk was the primary WR on the most prolific offense in NFL history in 1983. Carson doesn't even hold all time Giant records!

That vote for Carson should send a message to everyone here, just like the officiating we recieved the first year and half of Gibbs return, the HOF is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With LT at one OLB and Carl Banks at the other, plus an excellent D-line that included Leonard Marshall, Carson was just another guy IMHO. He was good, but not HOF good. It's ironic that the same morons (Peter King and Paul Zimmerman) that are lobbying to keep Monk out, have waged the campaign that finally got Carson elected. It's time for Wilbon and Lenny Shapiro to step up and wage a campaign on Monk's behalf.

It will be interesting to see whether the clowns voting on the HOF screw D. Green when he becomes eligible.
