Coaches shaking hands after the game is as much a tradition as singing the national anthem before the game. If the post-game hand-shake weren't such a big deal, the coaches would just wave at each other in acknowledgement during the dying minutes of the game, or call each other on a cell phone or something.

No excuse for not shaking hands after a regular season game. If you don't, its clearly an ego thing.

Holmgren is a classy guy.
