www.profootballtalk.com mentions in passing that the Redskins made a major play for Ray Lewis last week with an offer that involved both players and picks. I don't know how credible these guys are. They seem like a clearinghouse for spin from desperate agents. Did anyone else hear about this? From the rumormill:
"Still, don't expect a trade to happen. The Redskins offered a package of draft picks and various players last week, and the Ravens weren't interested."
