I'm not sure where you're getting the 10mil a year from. It seems a bit of a stretch that he wanted 10mil a year, when he had just restructured his deal, the season before he was cut, to help create cap room for the team. That deal was about 6.5mil a year. When he was cut, he settled on a a deal with Carolina, for about 3mil a year. That's a pretty big step down from 10mil a year.
As far as him coming back to Washington; I don't think he has enough left in the tank to be productive.
