He doesn't make a lot of money and Atlanta picks up any remaining signing bonus if they trae him. the skins would just need to carry his yearly salary. A short yardage back is not the most pressing need, but it is a need. A team that's identity is running the ball should never need to line up in shot gun on third and 2. Portis is a great back, but short yardage is not his thing. I would like to have someone to use like Gibbs used Riggs in the early 90's. Ducket is filling that same role right now in Atlanta and he's good at it.
