Washington Redskins vice president of football operations, Vinny Cerrato, has contacted the agent for free agent LB
Sam Cowart (Vikings), according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Cowart wants to continue to play middle linebacker, according to agent Paul Healy. Healy said Cowart has a visit planned this week, but not with the Redskins.
