He sees the field better when he rolls left and he doesn't have a bunch of big guys blocking his vision. But there's a price to pay for that advantage and the price gets steeper as he gets older and his legs get weaker.

I disagree with that assessment. Brunell goes thru reads better than Ramsey or Campbell and only scrambled because he needed to. It bought more time for someone to get open, which didn't happen enough last season. Presumably with the new receivers, two or three targets can get separation is 3 seconds or less.
