Re: Redskins best free agent move

I think picking up Randle-El was the best move so far, because I expect (just a prediction based on his past performance) him to have more of an impact on the entire team. I would suspect that the redskins' concern after the last few games was the offense, specifically the passing game (I know there maybe some arguments with this, but oh well). Well, if I assume this, the logical position of "need" on the team would be wideout - the 2nd/3rd wr (any productive wideout not named Santana). I thought the redskins d was kicking ass as usual even without a proven pass rusher, so I never considered their side of the field. This to me would be a strong argument for greatest impact because Randle-El would free up Moss, making the passing game stronger, which would free up the running game - with Portis and also taking off the pressure off of Brunell, which would also help the line, and so on.

But not only does he provide that, he adds that unpredictable/big play/surprise element to the offense that will surely take advantage of his skills ala Saunders - which would make his acquisition a two-fold impact.
