Jamison Hensley, of the
Baltimore Sun, reports the
Baltimore Ravens have to decide when to pursue another veteran quarterback. They can wait another month to see what happens to
Tennessee Titans QB
Steve McNair or begin to pursue free agent QBs
Kerry Collins (Raiders) and
Brian Griese (Buccaneers) right now. According to a league source, the
Ravens have discussed the possibility of not adding a veteran quarterback until after the
NFL draft, which is the earliest the
Titans would consider cutting McNair. There is not a clear consensus within the
Ravens on either Collins or Griese, the source said. Also, there's no guarantee that the
Titans will cut McNair.
mcnair isn't getting cut, i'd pursue collins ASAP as he's the only clear starter left and he'd be pretty cheap.
