Whoever replaced Gardner would likely be signed already. McCants, Thrash, and Jacobs have all either performed at this level, or shown flashes of the ability to do so. Believe me, the pressure is on Rod to prove he can play
in this league, much less on this team.
If Ogunleye is traded to the Redskins, I'd guarantee that Gardner is part of the package. I wouldn't mind seeing Wynn leave as well (solely because of his salary), but I doubt Miami would absorb his existing deal.
