I think it looks freaking awesome as hell and I'm excited despite the fact that the first game in the series freaked the hell out of me when I was younger and was stupid enough to play it in the dark, with the surround sound, and no one else home. plus a definite positive for me about this movie is that it's done by the same guy who did Brotherhood of the Wolf which if u like action movies and haven't seen it, I highly recommend checking it out at your local movie place of choice.

I honestly rented Silent Hill (the game on ps2) and thought it was really weak. Hope the movie represents better.
On the other hand Residnet Evil was a much better game than the movie ever was.
