TE isn't an immediate position of need like LB & CB, but it definitely is. Cooley play H-back (assuming the Gibbs' offensive set remains), and Fauria is old & not a long-term solution. Since Gibbs has been back this has been a sore spot I believe, we don't have that reliable D. Warren/Doc Walker type that blocks the best LB on the field all day & doesn't complain about not getting the ball thrown his way. The TE can be an essential part of the O line.
I agree w/most of his analysis as well, good post. Seems an objective review too.
