This is why the Wizards piss me off, because unlike in the NFL you could pretty much buy a championship in the NBA, but they refuse to bring in that missing link to get them through the playoffs. Their best player (Arenas) isn't even their highest paid.
For most owners saving the 10 mil a year probably does not equate into a 10 million salery difference. If they sit on their cap money and have a poor season they loose money in ticket, food, beer, parking sales etc... I just don't realy understand when a team has a need for players that they do not go after them in free agency. I realize that alot like to grow through the draft but if the guy is there as a FA then go for it.
