Re: Biggest threats in the NFC

I'm not too worried about the Giants. Someone mentioned that the front seven is scary but that's assuming the addition of LA proves fruitful. Eli looked like he took a step backwards in his development towards the end of last year. Toomer, Strahan and Barber are no spring chickens: I said this about Barber for the last 3 years and he always shows me up. Plaxico seems to play when he wants to.

Also, all of these new guys on defense better be able learners if they want to function smoothly as a team when the season starts. Otherwise, they'll have a bunch of out of position DB's loking at each other shrugging their shoulders as CLEMP blows by 'em.

Dallas could have the worst team ever but they would still give us fit, same with the Eagles.
Carolina's D shows up every game but their offensive doesn't.
Tampa has to rely on Simms performing spectacularly more often than not.
Atlanta will be a better team if Vick realizes that he's not going to make things happen every play. Patience, Mike, patience.
Seattle has already heard their "Give Me One Moment In Time" song. The loss of Hutchison will sting as will Jurevicious.
