I agree, if anything Baugh and the old geezers from that era are way overrated. Baugh was obviously a talented guy, but back then you only had a handful of truly exceptional athletes. Nowadays you've got rosters full of athletes who train year round and whose only focus is playing football.
A championship team from this era would crush any teams from back then. Imagine the '85 Bears defense going up against some of those old-time teams that had leather helmets? Forget about it.
Plus those old teams played in black and white. B&W sucks, color rules!
