Werent PS2 and XBox like 300-400 when they first came out? Whatever if Sony can sell their product that high, let them, that just means the system is gonna be amazing. Eventually prices will fall down, and PS3 will be a good buy.

I would argue the other side. Why shell out $600 for an inferior system (processing speed) when you can get the faster system cheaper. Sony has crap first partywise, and Microsoft is slowly winning over 3rd party franchises. It's only a matter of time until Sony can offer nothing over any other system.
