Actually, in his defense, he said that Washington is not a
sports town. He kept referring to the fact that Michael Wilbon had made this point on some panel, and that he intended to have Wilbon on next (this) week. He was really unable to make the argument himself, which is what infuriated Bram so much. He then went on to say, if anything, Washington is a Redskins town. But then he came up with this idiotic comment about attendance at last year's Dallas game.
Hopefully he'll address these comments again today, so tune in from 12-3pm.
Hmmm...maybe BMitch is a smarter guy than we are all giving him credit for - saying something blatantly controversial in order to get more people to listen...
