I trust Gibbs to do what is best on a safe side of the ledger because that is his history. He knows he'll need Thomas down the road and he'll do everything in his power to assure he wont come back too soon.

This could be a blessing because someone will get extended time with the starters at G through the Preseason and maybe the beginning of the regular season as well. Bugal and Gibbs will figure out who is best suited and fast track him which could be a great thing later in the year when injuries tend to mount. This should help our depth provided Thomas comes back at full speed even if it isn't until the 2nd half of the season. Someone else should come out of this preseason much more ready to play in real games. Could be BIG later on.
