congrats dude cuz I started bowling about 11 years ago and haven't bowled in a about a year and a half. the closest I've come to a 300 was a 289(where I got freakin robbed on my 11th shot), and a 283, with my 2 best series being 725 and 755. I try to warn some guys about winding up to much cuz I know I just haven't been the same since I had to change my swing and approach after slipping a disc in my lower back 3 years ago(which came 5 months after I dislocated my knee, lol.) congrats again and best of luck for similar success.
Thank's so much! It's funny that you mentioned palming the ball, I actually learned how to throw a hook that way, I bowled a couple of year's goofing around with my friend's like that, but I did finally graguate to useing all 3 hole's, I used a Sling Blade by hammer, it's a skid flip type of action, it sail's down and look's like it won't come back to the pocket, then at the last minute it crank's in hard, I just bought it, and have been throwing it here or there for about a month, I highly recommend this ball, and the price is very reasonable, about 130.00 to 140.00 drilled.

this was a 2 man league, we bowl 4 games, but my first 3 games where horrible, I didn't break 200, I switched ball's and started crushing the pin's, there was no cheap strikes in the bunch, every strike was a crush job.

It's a summer league so there wasen't a big crowd, in fact I laughed when they announced it over the loud speaker and I said, where's the big crowd when you need it.

I hope your able to heal up and get back into it, I have had some lower back injuries {spasm's} and probably don't have a ligament left in my knee's, so I can sympathies with the difficulties of trying to compete, the mind is willing but the flesh is week!
