Here is the thing, he didn't pass the physical, but these physicals are anything but simple. He certainly has some knee problems, but is he likely to recover fully? We have the chance to sign him at the league minimum salary or very close to it. If he has the right character and the right work ethic then I say sign him to a 2 or 3 year contract (with little or no bonus) that is extremely performance incentive based. That is not to say that I know too much about his character or work ethic, so if anyine knows anything about this aspect I'd love to hear it.
