some people like to just be able to play without having to use practice mode for 20 hours or memorize 50 different playbooks first. i believe you can turn the announcers off, and you don't have to use the ask for input options if you don't want. removing functionality that's totally optional to begin with isn't going to win you many points with your higher-ups.
