We can chalk that up to a number of things, poor special teams coverage, horrible punting, a few big runs were ripped off and put the other team deep in our territority on numerous occasions. Randle El will be an upgrade and should get us better field position. The punting needs to improve.

I think the most most important addition that Saunders will provide is his ability to mix up the plays to keep the defense guessing. I have a friend who is a Chiefs fan and he says, after several years of watching the Chiefs under Saunders, even he has a hard time figuring out what play is coming next.
