John Fox has had a couple of good runs with the Panthers in 2003 from the Wildcard position and last year, but he has yet to win the BIG one. This year could be his year however.

I would take Gibbs and his planning and preperation over all of the guys when it matters, or Bilichick in the playoffs ONLY. Nobody has done it better in the Regular season AND the Playoffs like Gibbs however.
It gets said over and over, to the point that people probably stop thinking about it, but Gibbs not only did it with three different quarterbacks, he did it with two of them being named Doug Williams and Mark Rypien. Not to take anything away from them, but Williams and Rypien seem pretty much out of contention for the Hall of Fame. Unlike Tom Brady. While Ryp and Doug will have their names in the history books as Super Bowl MVPs, they are not generally regarded as "GREAT" or "LEGENDS" of the game. Again, unlike Tom Brady is likely to be perceived. Gibbs also did it during strike years -- and in '87, one of his replacement teams went against a veteran, NFL pro team that had already returned and still beat them.

Just think, if only they had been up to the task against the Raiders in '83. It's the only real blemish in Gibbs' armor. Had it not been for that game, it would have been Gibbs, not Bill Walsh and the Niners, who most would think of first as the coach and the team of the 80's.
