Exactly. After Patten and Thrash went down last year, it was Taylor Jacobs and Jimmy Farris who replaced them.
According to player stats at NFL.com, Jimmy Farris caught 1 pass for 18 yards, while Jacobs, who had much more playing time, caught 11 passes for 100 yards.
To me, Jimmy Farris,
who has been in the league longer than Jacobs, doesn't deserve to be in a Redskin uniform any more than Taylor Jacobs did. He is training camp fodder and will never be anything more.
