He makes a interesting point. Think about it. If all the games on the schedule were to be played against the best team that franchise had ever fielded, (if for example Week 1, the '85 Bears were our opponent) we probably would have gone 0-16.
Well 1-15. We'd still beat the Cardinals.
It's just asinine to say that just because team A was good one year, team B's good season was a fluke because team A should always beat them. Games aren't played on paper.
And yes, if one is going out of their way enough to use this type of twisted reasoning, how twisted must they be to not see that it also applies to the Giants. That was stupidity all around.
And on top of it, he's wrong. The Redskins appear to be a better team than the Giants right now.
And if he didn't at least think that was the case, that person would not have taken the time to make a case against it.
