You're right, the stats don't lie. Career completion % of 55.7. 24 games started in 4 years. Yep, all adds up to a mediocre QB to me.
Ramsey is NOT anything special. Enough with the excuses. Spurrier ruined him, Gibbs screwed him, he wasn't going to beat out Pennington, etc.
If he was a true NFL caliber starting QB, he wouldn't be riding the pine YET AGAIN.

two points:
1. pennington is far better than collins, so that arguement is a complete joke.
2. collins is a career 70.4 rating QB, so technically, by your own arguement, ramsey is better. collins also has started 17 games in 11 years, which is far less than 24 in 4.
saying collins is better than ramsey isn't a very good arguement, especially if you want to rely on stats.
and pulling the coach knows best isn't really valid either. ramsey wanted out and when saunders was hired, it wasn't really up to him to keep ramsey. saunders wanted collins because he knew him well. He CLEARLY wasn't hired on talent, cause their were much better QBs on the market (griese, collins, etc etc etc). he also may have also wanted collins to screw herm edwards and brain drain the chiefs a bit (they had to scramble to get huard (sp?) resigned afterwards).
Your arguement also keeps stating that ramsey is a backup and not starter quality, but in a comparision with collins, that's completely moot as todd is most definately not someone ANYONE would want starting.
