Ours was really early last year (week 3 or 4 I think) but I wouldn't say it hurt us too much. Maybe if it had come after some loses we could have regrouped and actually won the divison. But, at the same time, if it had come late it could have messed up our winning streak. So, bascially I'm just talking out of my ass right now.
