TB had the ball on our 20 yard line or so, 2nd and 1yard to go w/ about 2min 35 sec's left. We call TO. They make the 1st down and we let the clock run down to the 2 min warn. We then call our 2 TO's after they run on first and sec down for 0 yards. TB runs their 3rd down play, then lets the playclock run down to 1 min before kicking the FG on 4th down.
We could have used our 2 remaining TO's before the 2 minute warning and they would have had their 3rd down play w/ about 2 min 10 sec left. They would then have to kick the FG after the 2 min warning allowing us 2 minutes instead of 1 min.
Am I right here or am I missing something? 1 min would have made a HUGE difference. Thoughts...

Yes, you're missing something. Using the timeouts, if we had stopped them on 2nd and 3rd down we would have got the ball back with over 2mins left and with a timeout. Without using the timeouts the Vikes could run the clock until 2 mins, we would then still have to call 2 timeouts but would have less time left on the clock.
