Don't get me wrong, Brunell's play does not absolve the rest of the offense. Because I think they could playing better too. Mark's performance...even when he has decent protection, we're not moving the chains. That's all I'm saying.
All things being equal, I can't think of any plays, so far, that Brunell was the difference maker.
Okay, do you guys remember last year when Brunell got pressured and there were runninging lanes, more often than not he scrambled to get clutch first downs. Against the Vikings this year in a similiar situation, he almost ran out of gas before he got to the sideline.
