Assuming you are correct, and they were all by design (they weren't, but I'll assume for a minute they were) this is the 3rd straight game that all Saunders / Brunell has done is short passes. That means our 2 million dollar OC is not worth it. I will obviously agree you play the game to your opponants weaknesses, the Texans could not stop the short plays so why stop? I understand that concept. However, it did not work vs the Cowboys at all, and was not very effective vs the Vikes either. The offense just looks remarkably similar in terms of play calling and Brunell's comfort zone.
