He can't because the real reason he won't vote for Monk is that he has always despised the Washington Redskins. Period. It's insane and it's an insult. Every other dynasty team gets their props except us. The Packers, the Raiders, the Steelers, the 49ers, soon the Cowboys, and the Vikings, My God, the Vikings. Apparently we won all of our Super Bowls on the strength of Coach Gibbs and John Riggins which is amazing since Riggins didn't play in the last two. Good for you, John!

The reality is that the Bills were a very good team in a lousy conference and some folks just never got the memo. (But they went to four straight Super Bowls. You can't forget that, blah, blah, blah). Exactly. The AFC was that bad. They had to send somebody.

I predict they will put Reed in before Monk and we'll hear how his impact was different than Monk's. (I just think that Reed really embodied the spirit of that team, yada, yada, yada). And they'll harp on the 19 TDs till they're blue in the face. Whatever they can think of to avoid telling the truth. And if you think I'm paranoid, check out the SportsCenter thread. More proof! I believe they have sent Tafkas to watch us. (Just kidding) (Maybe)

Chip you stole some of my thunder, Monk played in the toughest division in football for most of his career, as well in a much better confrence. Where as Reid had a cupcake ride in the AFC, if that Bill team played in the NFC east they would have been lucky to make the playoffs all 4 of those years let alone the SB.

It is true Reid had Lofton but Lofton was past his prime when he arrived in Buffalo, he didn't possess the dynamic recieving skills that made him one of the great recievers of his day, but he was a nice compliment to Reid.

Bottom line to many people despise the skins and refuse to vote for a guy like Monk, which just goes to prove that the HOF is nothing more than a popularity contest and whose A** you kiss the hardest, it has nothing to do with actual talent, as far as I am cocerned it's meaningless!

Harry Carson over Monk for the HOF give me a break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
