My fear is that Springs, as he is hinting at with some of his comments, may not be ready to come back this season. Without a strong cover corner to compliment Rogers (who still has a lot of work to do) we will continue to be vunerable to the deep passing game.

I guess we'll find out soon enough, but I am nervous that the D isn't going to get back to 2004/5 levels without him. Without a top 10 quality defense we won't get far in the post season (assuming we make it). Obviously he isn't the only reason the D isn't living up to expectations, but he certainly is proving to be a lynchpin, same as CP on the offense.
