Re: some perspective on the season so far
I am not so quick to accept excuses. To be a team to get all of the "positive" press you people so desperately think we deserve, we have to win games against teams we should beat. the vikings?? come on, how can we at home, on the 1st monday night game of the season come out and and blow that game. The Giants last week?? this team was in so much disaray and turmoil and we go out there and give them hope. That is twice in as many years we go up there and play uninspired football. Good teams, playoff bound teams, championship contending teams win those games. Come on people! we cant keep coming up with excuses, that well looking at this game and that game 2-3 isn't that bad. Well, where in the schedule do you see wins? We cant beat the vikings at home, how to we beat the cowboys, gianst, eagles, Carolina at home? How do we beat the colts, saints, eagles, on the road. Where do you think you see us coming out with a win? This team is not that good. I dont know if its Springs being out, but one corner making that much difference is hard to believe. Brunell, you cant blame him for the Giants game. the guy got chased around everytime he went back to pass. Every part of this team failed miserably sunday. These guys should be playing hard everyweek, like its their last game. Instead we get the same crap " well, we faught, we competed blah blah blah" If we are going to be concidered in the same breath as the championship teams we have to start playing like them. And we have to stop making excuses why they lose or its ok because these are games we figured we would lose.
