Two straight years of going to Giant's Stadium with my son and the second straight year of extreem disappointment. They were not the team that played the Jaguars and they did not play as if this were a divisional rival. There was no spark.
I don't second guess Gibbs. Not because he is Joe Gibbs but because he knows a whole lot more about NFL football than any of us.
a field goal never caused a turnoaround spark, much less a missed one. in fact, aside from a turnover, there's nothing more deflating especially after the longest sustained drive all game.

i know they didn't believe in themselves, making it on 4th and 1 was just the situation to get some confidence and get back into the game. alas, Gibbs/Saunders played like they were already beaten and the team accepted it.
