And I don't think that all the blame should be pinned on Brunell. If you bench him, there a lot of other people that need to be benched.

You mean 'what does he have
left to prove' ? Nothing. But maybe in Gibbs' mind he has to win it all with the guy he hand picked. Brunell might have been good for a team that was rebuilding, a very young team with lots of rookies struggling to find its identity. But that's not what the Redskins were. They were looking to find that final piece -- they were almost there. Brunell was not the QB to lead them anywhere.
I keep asking myself, are the receivers just not getting open? Do we not have an adequate running game? Is the O-line in shambles? The answers to these questions are all "no." So what's left?
