My personal game notes...

* JANSEN, JANSEN, JANSEN.. No one can say that this isn't a HUGE loss for this team. By FAR the best lineman (far superior to Samuels) AND... this is VERY IMPORTANT to note!!!!!... the right tackle protects MARK BRUNELL'S BLIND SIDE!!!

* In another post I went on and on about how I see Sean Taylor as an Allen Iverson... "practice?! we're talking about practice!" ... a guy who goes through the motions until game day when his god-given ball hawking abilities shine bright as the sun. He is very special and that was obvious on both plays tonight.

* I've been saying for a year now, Sultan McCullough deserves an honest chance! He outperformed Rock Cartwright by leaps and bounds tonight. He's is lighting quick and has very good vision and moves. His only drawback is his lack of ability to break tackles.

* I hate to say this A. J. Fan Club, but Ade Jimoh is absolutely horrible. I thought the times he got burnt last year were rookie mistakes, but his guy was open EVERY single time they threw to him.... by at least 3-4 yards too. He is a sucker for double-moves EVERY time.

* We all know it was against a 3rd-string defense, but Brunell and Ramsey were so bad tonight, it only made you go "WOW" to Tim Hasselbeck's play even more. I still say he isn't on par with those two... and that will show in the next 4 preseason games... but man was he impressive this evening.

* Our fist units were awful tonight. Run D, Pass D, Pass O, Run O, and special teams were ALL made fools of... I can't blame the offense so much because I know Gibbs' didn't want to show ANY of his "real" plays... but the defense... they overpursued on every counter and bootleg...giving up huge gains. I know Williams' D is aggressive, but I don't know if they are just still learning and made assignment mistakes or whether his style of D just doesnt match up well to those plays.
