Yeah maybe a bit too rough, I apologize to Shane.
My point is TH was playing against 3rd stringers and guys who won't even make the Broncos team. So let's relax a little bit before we elevate TH to starter status and reserve a plane ticket for him to Hawaii.
TH is a solid backup, don't get me wrong I really like him. He came in last year and played very well under the circumstances. That being said the reality of it is he's an average QB with an average arm. He's a solid #2 or #3 guy.
I'll probably say it over and over this week, with the preseason you can't get too high or too low.
Brunell and Ramsey both struggled, but I honestly expected that. If you expected the offense to come out and light things up your expectation level was unreasonable.
But the Broncos looked good on offense you may say.
Of course they did, Shanahan has been with that team for years now, it's an established and successful system and alot of their players know it inside and out. They also don't have the roster turnover we have. Gibbs and company have been in training camp for
a week.
Relax folks and enjoy the ride. It's a long season.
