Exactly. In 1986 Jay Schroeder was on fire throwing and so Joe Gibbs threw enough to allow him to reach 4000 yards passing. While Joe might like to run effectively, he has a history of going with what works. If we could chuck it down the field like the Colts then they would do that.
As for Saunders, he says he wants a balance, but most importantly to do whatever the situation calls for at the time.
