when you overpay for so much talent (and ticket prices are raised accordingly) you have a right to expect your team not to suck. I can understand the desire to boo, as fan are simply soooo frustrated that they have no other outlet (ie- 4 3 and outs in a row, and brunell completes a 5 yard pass when we needed 8)...just as the natural reaction to a good play is to cheer. You want a release. Moreover, these guys are not kids, they are professionals. It is reasonable for people to expect them to play and behave accordingly. That said, I agree with you, it is destructive, demeaning and unnecessary. Moreover, i don't buy the booing as a motivational tool, but i can see some benefit in trying to illicit change- ie get brunell out.
