It should be interesting to see what happens with Martin. I'm really not sure that he's a lock. There are a lot of people out there that differ on Martin and even Bettis.
If I had a vote, I'd put Martin in. To me his numbers tell the story.

He was consistently one of the better backs in this league for a long time.

Winning the rushing title at age 32 is more impressive to me than John Elways back to back SBs at 36 and 37. Not to take anything away from Elway, but to, in an offense-happy season (2004), outrush every other running back in the league when not a soul thought you had another 1000 yard season left in you was incredible.
