Thats a good point TAFKAS, but for me, what attracts me to an athlete is his ability to perform under pressure and be at his best when the situation is the heaviest (same thing that stimulates Parcells judging from that recent article). All my favorite athletes had that: Jordan, Tiger, Montana (either that or they played for a Washington team).
It's kind of the A-Rod factor, and its something that pushes me away from certain guys. There's just something kind of, I don't know, icky about watching Manning consistently fold under big game pressure, then watching him go on TV and whine and deflect blame to his offensive line, or whoever. Ewww. The fact is Manning has never won a big game at any level.
I like watching Manning throw 49 TD's and do all his crazy audibilizing as much as anyone else, but he'll never be one of my guys. If the question is then Brady or Manning - and it is - I'm taking Brady any time any day any game.
