Well, I think there are two correct ways to look at this, and neither mention Mark Brunell in any way. Number one is that we shouldn't have made the moves because they clash with our offensive style. Number two is that we play a safe style of offense, and it's our new additions that have allowed us to reach a respectable level of offensive production. Was it worth it to get BOTH Lloyd and Randle El? I never at any point thought it was. David Patten would have been more than capable as the no. 3 WR.

But something has caused us to improve offensively over last year. Either it was the additions, the new offense, the quarterback, or pure luck. Or the two quarters of garbage time weve had this year...which somehow didn't exist last year.
