Don't make the leap that just because I said he played well last week, I must believe he's a good QB or that he deserves praise this week. I've been ripping him all season long (save last week).

I understand where you're coming from but I'm not a flip/flop. For some time my mind has been made up about Brunell. He did throw a couple passes farther than six yds. last week, and he did throw a couple over the middle (which I didn't think he knew existed) and as a result of that some thought he played better, but in reality it was the same old Brunell, and I'm not going to flavor him because I really don't think he should be on the field PERIOD. So in essence, regardless of what he does, I'm constantly reminded to often of what he can't do. If you felt he played well, that's your perogative, I saw "through" the win and took into consideration all the ommitigating circumstances. I'm talking about a QB who has not lead his team to a touchdown against a division opponent on the road this year. I'm not going to flip/flop all over the place from one week to the next. I didn't like his play last week, the week before, and I certainly didn't like it today. There's nothing to make me think I'm going to like it next week either.
I never though I would feel this way about Brunell because if you go back and look at my posts in 2004-05 when some here was saying all kind on negative things about Brunell, I continued to support him. However, I have watched him play enough now that I'm convinced his serviceable years have departed.
