People are talking about getting rid of him because he's the only one of the five up for free agency this year. Nobody's saying Dock is the reason the line has disappointed.

The real question is can we find an upgrade? If we can, then it may be worth it. But it might be difficult to do so, given the importance of continuity along the line.

I expect Gibbs & Co to define their identity in the next 6 weeks. Until we make any decisions on Dockery, we should see how the line shapes up coming down the stretch here. Remember 2004? We started 3-7 but finished 3-2. The line, Ramsey, and the entire offense started to get in sync. With Campbell in the fold, it's quite possible we look much better by year's end, and that the entire offensive line plays better. I'd reserve judgment on Dock for now.
