Ok, it seems like every week there's yet another "What's the deal with our draft picks with Denver from the Falcons/Redskins/Broncos trade this summer" post or thread.
So here it is, ripped straight from a Gmanc711 post, a simple breakdown of the deal:
"Both us AND the Broncos need to finish so that we would have been between the 21st and 32nd pick in the draft. I have big news for you....were not even going to be close to finishing where we would have wound up with a pick 21 or later.
If we finish better, were going to end up swapping picks.
Now if we dont end up switching first rounders (which it dosent look like we will), its going to cost us a 4th round pick in 2008.

If we pick between 21 and 31 AND Denver has a higher pick, we switch. If we pick #4, we pick #4, if we pick #20, we pick #20."
