In general, the trip I took with Gmanc and Daseal up to Canada prior to getting engaged ranks as one of my favorite memories. It was spontaneous as hell and I ended up hanging out with people I previously had met once. I've taken some random midnight trips during college about 300-400 miles away for the hell of it before, and those rank right up there.

I wasn't thinking sportswise, but if we're going to go down that road as well, I'd have to say the Red Sox unbelievable comeback vs the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS, and when we went on to win the series. I had season tickets for years, and went through every bad season. I lived that curse. I am probably a bigger Skins fan, but that curse lived huge in the minds of Red Sox fans.
I had tickets to game 6 (we swept) but I was there for the Parade. And even though it was drizzly and poor weather, over 3.5 million showed up. In fact I am in the 2005 Red Sox year book with my wife, a friend, my brother, and his (now) wife, cheering as the duck boats went by.
I'll do personally later...I still have to think about it.
