You hit the nail on the head here. Basically, if Betts is able to play against St. Louis and Atlanta, and doesn't fumble, then I would be really surprised if he gets cut.
It's not that I agree or anything, I just think that's the way it will be. He will get a pass simply because we gave up a 2nd round pick to get him. The one who gets the shaft will be either Simon or McCollough, and McCollough seems to be a lock for the practice squad.
Cartwright has done enough in my mind to make the roster. Then again, as Matty said in another thread, my name doesn't start with "coach".
