Exactly. And this is why I'm not sure it was all directed at Brunell. I'm not making any excuses or trying to over analyze this.
Fan Psychology 101: It's possible that many saw the Campbell injury and Brunell's entrance as an interuption or
disruption to the continuance of the 'Jason Campbell era.' In their minds, were they really saying, no we don't want to go back to the old, let's keep marching forward to the kid. Even if Brunell comes in and lights it up, I think many people are done with that chapter of the Redskins.
